About the CSC at UNM

The Christian Student Center at UNM (CSC@UNM) is not only a place people call a second home but also a group of people who enjoy sharing in life together while studying and experiencing the word of God. We have a passion for sharing the Lord’s kingdom by sharing Christ and the resurrection with others. We do this through various means, including service projects, events on UNM’s campus and our own bible study on Wednesdays at 7pm.

Garrett Schmille

Campus Director and Evangelist

Garrett Schmille became a Christian during his freshman year at UNM and served as campus intern for 2 1/2 years. In 2007 he became the campus Director of the CSC@UNM. His wife Jessie has always been a big support in the women’s ministry. They have been married for 18 years and have 3 boys, Ethan, Shane, and Timmy and a little girl, Serenity.

Leadership Team

The CSC leadership team is made up of current students, young adults in the workforce, and missionary apprentices from the Adventures in Missions program. They all have a heart for serving God, and helping others see the love that He has for them.
